To remove candle wax or chewing gum, hold an ice dice over the wax or gum for a quantity of seconds so that it will chill and harden. Be sure to wipe up water because the ice melts to prevent water spots. Remove as much of the wax or gum as potential along with your fingers after which scrape away the remainder gently utilizing the dull fringe of a desk knife. Rub the spot briskly with a cloth saturated in cream wax. To remove water rings, rub with a combination of equal components white vinegar and cooking oil in the same course of the grain.
