Before utilizing any cleaning/conditioning product on leather, test it in an obscure space. Expect that some marks will seem on the surface of your leather. Their origin could be anything from healed scars and barbed wire scratches, to pores and skin “stretch marks” and insect bites. By no means should they be considered a defect; nor will they affect the sturdiness or development of your piece. Such “imperfections” are your assurance that you have a real leather-based cover. Immediately blot spills to take away excess liquid with a clean white fabric or plain paper towel.
