The bug, shared by FingerprintJS last week, stems from using IndexedDB databases by web sites. According to the preliminary report, plainly safari is allowing websites that use IndexedDB to see all different IndexedDB databases used throughout a searching session. That might permit web sites to see which other web sites are being visited, for instance. Apple is working on fixing a bug in Safari that would allow web sites to see different sites that you simply recently visited. However, the repair would require updates to iOS 15, iPadOS 15, and macOS Monterey to be launched. This firm has been voted onto T+L’s list of the world’s best safari outfitters every year since the awards’ inception — and for good reason.
